 omen's Day is 'Inspire Inclusion' and our inspiring guest speaker is Trudy
  McGowan OAM. We are very fortunate to have Ms McGowan who has served as a
 n Australian Diplomat since 2005 as this year's guest.  In recognition of
  her exceptional work in supporting Australians abroad through consular as
 sistance\, including the successful recovery of Australians from hostage a
 nd arbitrary detention situations\, Ms McGowan was awarded an OAM (Order o
 f Australia Medal) in June 2023. She also received an Australian Operation
 al Service Medal (Civilian) for her involvement in the evacuation of Austr
 alians from Kabul in 2021. Ms McGowan has specialized in various areas wit
 hin the Consular Affairs Division\, where she has handled complex and high
 -profile cases\, crisis response\, and consular and business continuity pl
 anning. As in previous years there will be a swag of raffle prizes and a l
 ucky door prize. EFTPOS or cash will available to purchase raffle tickets.
  This year we are supporting our guest speaker's charity of choice\, the 
 UN Women's Second Chance Education program. The start time is 7.00am for 7
 .15am and will conclude by 8.30am.
