Congratulations to our very own Peter Smith, who won the district photo competition showing Rotary "in action". His image was taken prior to the start of the Wynnum Wheelchair Challenge 2024, where representatives from the community and all levels of government were invited to complete challenges around the Wynnum CBD to highlight accessibility issues.
The Rotary District 9620 Conference 2025 in Toowoomba on 28-30 March was a fantastic weekend attended by several of our members. Not only did Peter Smith win the District Photo competition, our President Mick Matthews presented "Having Fun while Getting Things Done" and spoke on how to keep a large club actively engaged and thriving. Attendees enjoyed inspirational presentations by guest speakers and had the opportunity to meet and share ideas with other Rotarians across the district.
