Our club recently completed an international project in Tanna Vanuatu. Our club funded the installation of water tanks and completed some roof repairs on a clinic and maternity ward.

One of Rotary International's areas of focus is Child and Maternal Health. The Rotary Club of Wynnum & Manly recently completed an international aid project with support from our Rotary District 9620. This post highlights our work done at a remote medical clinic and maternity ward in Tanna, Vanuatu. The local infant mortality rate is 2 in 100 so it is hoped that the investment in clean water sources at the Ioananen Clinic and Maternity Ward will lessen this. The funds our club raised were able to provide two new water sources.
The roof was destroyed in a cyclone a few years ago and was unable to be fixed due to lack of funds and materials.
