The Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly celebrated the changeover from Past-President, Mick Matthews to President Jo Soothill on Saturday night.
Members, family, friends and guests enjoyed a night of celebration on 28 June, as we thanked Mick Matthews for his outstanding year as President, and welcomed Jo Soothill into the role. Attendees were invited to come dressed as their favourite “Unite for Good” hero, which is the theme of the 2025-2026 Rotary year. Congratulations to our three members who received Paul Harris fellowships, Geoff Catto, Gordon Walters and Kai Eberspaecher for their years of service to the community. Congratulations also to Dave Warren being awarded an Honary Life Membership to the club. A fantastic night was had by all which included a delicious 2-course meal by the Wynnum Golf Club. Thank you to all of the generous sponsors who contributed to raffle prizes on the night and the hard work of Jodi Dalton and her team for organising the event. We are sure the club will have another successful year, with Jo Soothill and her executive team at the helm.
