About us

The Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly formed in 1953 and has a proud record of continuous service in this community. We are an active participant in Rotary Internationals mission to achieve world peace and understanding through its vast network of humanitarian programs.

We are a small part of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and community leaders who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world.

Our impact starts with our members—people who work tirelessly with their club to solve some of our communities’ toughest challenges. Their efforts are supported by Rotary International, our member association, and The Rotary Foundation, which turns generous donations into grants that fund the work of our members and partners around the world. Rotary is led by our members—responsible leaders who help to carry forward our organization’s mission and values in their elected roles.

Members of the Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly aspire to the ideal of service above self and enjoy friendship and fellowship in this shared endeavor.

With over fifty members the club has served the local community by running projects in and with schools, through youth exchange and training programs, through vocational visits, fun and fund-raisers. We also support over sixty overseas projects in countries such as Cambodia, India, Nepal, and Vanuatu.

Our club is a happy and welcoming group with a growing membership of men and women who want to make a difference in their community. Our members range in age from their 30’s onwards, and come from all backgrounds.

We welcome new members and you are invited to attend our Rotary Club meeting. We meet every Wednesday evening at 6.00pm for a dinner meeting. Please come and join us. Contact us by email at: secretarywmrotary@gmail.com
