The Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly has recently completed two major community projects thanks to District Grants from The Rotary Foundation and Rotary District 9620 — supporting H.E.A.R.T with much-needed property upgrades and assisting Bulloo Shire with essential safety equipment following the 2025 floods.

Have you seen our purple shirts around Wynnum and Manly on Friday mornings?  The Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly meet weekly for coffee on Fridays to support local cafes. Members wear bright purple shirts emblazoned with ‘Say No to Family and Domestic Violence".  The reason for this it to start conversations and get people thinking about how they can be part of the solution.  Fostering healthy and respectful relationships is just the starting point.   We are honoured Kara Cook MP, our local federal member spoke of our efforts in a recent speech to parliament.  Thank you Kara Cook for the support.  Watch what she had to say to parliament here.  If you'd like to join us in purple one Friday morning, we'd love that.  Please contact Les Louis for more information.

The community enjoyed another successful Rotary Family Fun Day on 8 June 2025! Crowd numbers increased again this year as people joined us at George Clayton Park on a beautiful sunny day, to enjoy fabulous entertainment and activities.  Read on to find out more...

Congratulations to our very own Peter Smith, who won the district photo competition showing Rotary "in action".  His image was taken prior to the start of the Wynnum Wheelchair Challenge 2024, where representatives from the community and all levels of government were invited to complete challenges around the Wynnum CBD to highlight accessibility issues.
